I have used AI for marketing. Never in my writing, except one time, to summarize a very large text that someone else had written (The Pope). I know for a fact that people are having AI write entire books for them. It is surely muddying the "art" being produced, and that really, really sucks for the rest of us. I do use AI to help me with coding. It might be getting worse at that, but it has helped me do some cool stuff so far, and I hope that part of it keeps working since that's more of a science with specific rules.
